What do you do in your role at the Center? My upcoming role includes supporting sustainability and circularity efforts across campus through resource management, waste diversion, and community engagement initiatives. I support operations at Bucky’s Closet, assist with sustainability outreach and Zero Waste Move Out efforts, and collaborate on projects that help increase waste recovery and promote ecological landscaping. I also help lead applied learning events that encourage sustainability engagement across the SCU community!
What is your favorite part about being on the team? I really enjoy the opportunity to connect with like-minded peers and mentors to work towards making a difference in on-campus sustainability.
What extra/co-curricular activities are you involved in on campus? I am also a member of Delta Gamma, a student teacher at SCU Kids on Campus, and a D.J. on the KSCU radio!
Other passions, hobbies, fun facts, or anything else you want to share? I love getting outdoors in any way I can, whether it be swimming, surfing, hiking, or even just a drive down the coast. Some fun facts about me are that I have a twin sister, and my friends and family all call me Fish!
